The Cableware Division of Loos & Co. got its start in 1979 in Naples, Florida. The company has grown in size from its initial 10 employees to its now more than 64. In 1996, Loos Naples moved into our 80,000 square foot facility, realizing the need for increased manufacturing due to the addition of new products. Loos Naples is the recognized leader in the field of Mil-Spec hardware and wire rope fittings, first pioneering the industry more than 60 years ago. It is with that same innovative spirit that we have launched Loos Precision Products (LPP). Loos Precision Products offers its capabilities to produce built-to-print parts for mid-to high-volume production. We are dedicated to partnering with our customers to meet and exceed their production requirements to produce high-quality and competitively-priced products. We are an approved source supplier for Airbus, Leonardo S.p.A., Bombardier, Boeing, Cessna, Lockheed Martin, Sikorski, and Raytheon. We supply parts to most major distributors and industries around the world.
Loos & Co. began humbly in 1958 with its only facility being its owner’s three-car garage. It grew to be a 220,000 square foot plant located in Pomfret, Connecticut. Owner A.W. “Gus” Loos started out in business as a manufacturer’s representative for hardware concerns. At the same time, he imported wire rope and cable from Germany and Japan. Not long after, he was stocking cable, tools and fittings, as well as re-reeling and packaging cable. Today, the company can draw wire, strand cable, extrude plastics, manufacture hardware and tools for mechanical cable, manufacture cable assemblies, and test and package all the aforementioned.
